ACTIVITIES

It is important to us that our residents experience life enriching activities and feel like part of the community while staying in our nursing home. Our residents' quality of life is important to us and this is why we provide a variety of daily activities, events, and classes.

Some of our Activities Include:
- Morning Coffee Social and News
- Music performed by local musicians in our community
- Balloon Toss
- Karaoke
- Bingo
- Afternoon Movie with Popcorn and Soda 
- Card Games
- Table Volleyball 
- Reader's Corner 
- Religious Services
- Trivia Time

Some of our Classes Include:
- Exercise (Mind/Body Awareness with Arden, Sit and Stretch, etc.)
- Cooking
- Arts and Crafts 
- Santa Barbara City College Adult Education

We also have several resident lead fundraisers throughout the year, including our Christmas Boutique and Bakesale. Our residents sell the crafts they have made throughout the year at this Boutique, and profits are donated to the Santa Barbara Unity Shoppe.

At Santa Barbara Convalescent, we also understand the need for alone time, and personal privacy is always respected.
